FAQs for Families
The questions families actually ask, answered straight: Tutors and Masters, tests and homework, daily routine, conflicts, bilingualism, technology, and how you follow your child's learning.
The approach, piece by piece
What each part of the NovaLumi Methodology means. The full guides are part of the methodology library below.
Mosaic Curriculum
How two matrices (Competencies & Skills, and Contents) connect essential knowledge with students' interests and real-world contexts, aligned with each country's national curriculum.
Project-Based Learning
Why students learn through real projects, and how one question about a water shortage became a working cistern built by students.
Multi-Age Education
Why students of different ages learn together, how the cycles are organized, and what this changes in empathy, autonomy and rhythm.
Integrated Assessment
How learning is assessed without reducing it to a number: Learning Evidence, self-assessment, feedback, a five-point scale and term reports.
Inclusive Education
How every student's uniqueness is embraced: attentive listening, flexible proposals and multiple languages of expression, within each pillar.
Reading the World
The practice where students explore the week's news and their own reality, 1 to 5 times a week depending on the cycle, from Early Years to Secondary.

Straight answers, from the source
Six questions families ask us most, answered exactly as our schools answer them. The full FAQ goes much further.
Assessment records Learning Evidence (the development of skills and the understanding of content) throughout the process, not just at the end. Tools are chosen to fit each project: reports, podcasts, exhibitions, debates, presentations. A test is also a tool and can be used when it makes sense; it is just never the only measure.
These answers come straight from our 65-page FAQ for Families, which also covers enrollment, adaptation, routine, food, bilingualism, technology and after-school.
